Biomaterial Mode
Musa ist ein funktionelles Portemonnaie, das aus einer flexiblen, ungiftigen Bio-Lederalternative auf Basis von Maniok und Gelatine hergestellt wird. Es wurde für bewusste Verbraucher entwickelt, die nach umweltfreundlichen Alternativen zu herkömmlichem Leder und Kunststoff suchen. Das Projekt wandelt lokale agroindustrielle Abfälle (Bananenschalen) in einen Rohstoff um und unterstützt so die Kreislaufwirtschaft. Das Portemonnaie ist am Ende seiner Lebensdauer zu 100 % kompostierbar, und das einfache, handwerkliche Produktionsmodell ist für lokale Werkstätten zugänglich.
