S.Lab produce envases protectores biodegradables a escala industrial utilizando residuos agrícolas y micelio como aglutinante natural. Este material sustituye al poliestireno no reciclable, ofrece las mismas prestaciones, es compostable en casa y se biodegrada totalmente en 30-45 días. El proceso utiliza menos agua y contribuye a reducir las emisiones. Está certificado como compostable en casa por TÜV Austria.
