AYMI Modular Habitat

Sistema modular y arquitectura plegable

AYMI es un sistema de arquitectura modular plegable para desplegar rápidamente espacios habitables temporales o permanentes (aulas, refugios) con un impacto mínimo en el emplazamiento. Su innovación radica en una estructura reversible y plegable que permite el montaje y la reconfiguración repetidos sin juntas permanentes. Este diseño prioriza la reutilización, el transporte compacto y los mínimos residuos de construcción, ofreciendo una alternativa altamente sostenible a las infraestructuras de un solo uso. Protegido por una patente de invención activa del INAPI.

Cristián Fuenzalida is an architect, academic and researcher with experience in design, prefabrication and industrialization applied to modular systems and lightweight architecture. His work integrates teaching, research and prototype development, focusing on adaptable, low-impact infrastructural solutions. He has led experimental projects related to DfMA processes, material systems and architectural reuse in educational, community and cultural contexts.
