The Voltfang 2 is a pre-assembled, high-performance battery energy storage system (BESS) for businesses, offering efficient energy use and cost reduction. It uses requalified, second-life automotive batteries, which extends their life and saves resources. The system has a highly efficient cooling system (75% more efficient) and a low CO2 footprint compared to similar products. Production uses regional materials, and batteries are responsibly recycled by certified partners.

“Voltfang 2” presents a compelling synthesis of repurposing and energy storage. By transforming end-of-life electric vehicle batteries into a safe, turnkey storage system, the project addresses both material reuse and energy resilience. Localized battery collection and regional distribution further strengthen its efficiency and sustainability. A strong example of circular economic energy infrastructure.
