Waste becomes fashion - mold inspired couture

In my project I challenge the material habits of the fashion industry and explore what happens when we embrace rejected materials: waste. I examine natural processes our trash undergoes—decay, mold, fungi—and reinterpret these acts of decomposition as the beginning of something new. The collection includes four outfits made through knitting, felting, and sewing; two pairs of shoes combining 3D-printed TPU with wool felt; and a jewelry series crafted from recycled PLA 3D-printing waste, gold-plated and set with gemstones. The collection consists of 70% waste and 30% low-impact new materials in.
